The Company
Founded in 2006 by Juan Romero, Granite and Marble Designs have been creating interior stone work from its base near Framlingham, Suffolk. Over these 11 years we have built up good relationships with suppliers around the country allowing us to find the best quality and rare stone to meet the most exacting design requirements.
We have experience working within all types of building whether its a small country cottage, new development or stately home. We can provide a comprehensive design, templating, fabricating and fitting service to work around your building and timetable.
The Team
Juan Romero (Director)
Juan has been involved in the stone trade for many years. Having moved from Argentina in 2003 where his family are also stonemasons he set up the business in 2006. Over the years there has not been a stone that Juan hasn’t worked with. His knowledge of the materials and techniques mean that there is very little the company cannot accomplish in terms of fabrication, fitting and supplying stone.
When he isn’t working, Juan loves spending time with his two children climbing, cycling and eating out!
Nat Booth
Nat joined the company in November 2016. Nat has worked worked within many different sectors from offshore oil and gas to pyrotechnics and is now looking for his next challenge within the stone industry. Within the next year Nat will be working towards his Level 2 diploma as a banker mason.
Nat is in charge of the digital side of the business as well as being at the work bench shaping and polishing stone. He often plays music at local pubs and loves to be in the great outdoors walking and climbing.
